Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) & OTBI

What is Oracle BIP and OTBI?

Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher is a reporting and publishing application that enables you to extract data from multiple data sources, create layouts for report data, and publish the report to numerous output formats.

BI capabilities allow you to:

  • Gather real-time  data from your organization
  • Visualize the data in different formats such as tables and graphs
  • Deliver data in a timely fashion to the employees in your organization

Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) provides real-time insight into data. OTBI processes, organize, and collect data from internal IT systems and external sources, prepare it for analysis, run queries against the data, and create data visualizations, BI dashboards make the analytics results available to business users for operational decision-making and strategic planning. Instead of constructing a SQL query, users can drag and drop data from functional subject areas and use different graphical views to explore or visualize the data interactively.
