Adding extra fields in Purchase Agreements Page using Redwood VB Studio

In this article, we’ll walk you through a practical customization: how to add extra fields to the Purchase Agreements Page in the Procurement module. Whether you want to display calculated values or include additional data points for better visibility, Oracle’s Visual Builder Studio makes it possible with minimal effort.

We’ll specifically demonstrate how to add a new field that displays the sum of the Released Amount and the Agreement Amount, right within the Purchase Agreements interface built on Oracle Redwood design.

Let’s dive in and transform your Procurement UI with a few simple steps:

  1. First, go to the home page of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Application.
  2. Go to the Procurement Tab and click on the Purchase Agreements card. This will open the Purchase Agreement overview page.
  3. Now, on the rightmost side, click on the menu button above the search icon. A sidebar will open, and from that sidebar, select the Purchase Agreements (New) option from the list. This will open the Purchase Agreements main page, which is designed in the Redwood.
  4. We have many fields like Supplier, Released Amount, Agreement Amount, etc on the Purchase Agreements main page.
  5. On the top-right side of the page, click on the Profile icon. From the menu, click on the Edit page in the Visual Builder Studio option. This will open your project in Visual Builder Studio, where you can customise your Procurement Agreements Page.
  6. Now to add an extra field on this page, which will be the sum of the Released Amount and the Agreement Amount fields, and to customise this Purchase Agreements Page further, follow the below-mentioned video :
