Adding extra information in Add Absence Page using Visual Builder Studio

In this article, we’ll explore how to display extra user information on the Add Absence page in Oracle Fusion using Visual Builder Studio.

Sometimes, before submitting an absence, you might want to see other relevant user details, such as Assignment Number, Assignment Name, Business Unit, and Legal Employer. Displaying these details upfront can help users make informed decisions before adding an absence request.

Let’s walk through how to achieve this customisation using VB Studio.

Steps to Add Extra Information:

  1. Access Oracle Fusion Cloud Application
Log in to your Oracle Fusion environment.

  2. Navigate to the Add Absence Page

    • Go to Me

    • Click on Add Absence

  3. Open the Absence Entry Page

    • The New Absence page will open

    • Click on Continue Without Journey

  4. Launch Visual Builder Studio

    • Click on your Profile icon (top-right corner)

    • Select Edit Page in Visual Builder Studio

From here, you can customise the page to include the desired user details. For a complete walkthrough of the customisation process, refer to the step-by-step video linked below.
