Update fire notification message style in Oracle Visual Builder
Out-of-the-box notifications in Oracle Visual Builder are functional, but when it comes to delivering a polished user experience, styling matters. Whether it’s changing the color, adjusting the font, or adding a custom border, customising the look and feel of Fire Notification messages can make your application stand out. However, applying these custom styles isn’t as straightforward as it might seem.
In this article, we will show you how to take full control over the visual styling of Fire Notification messages triggered from an Action Chain in Oracle Visual Builder.
Follow these steps to get started:
- Log in to your Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) application.
- Create a new page and give it a meaningful name.
- Open the page, go to the Components palette, and drag a Button component onto the canvas.
- Now, click on the Design button and then click on the button you have created. Then open the Properties palette.
- In the Events section, click + Event Listener, and select ojAction to create an action chain for the button click event.
- In the action chain, search for Fire Notification under the Actions palette. Drag and drop it onto the canvas.
